Special Lecture: Edgar Cayce – The Man and the Message with Sidney and Nancy Kirkpatrick

Long before John Edward, James Van Praagh, and Long Island medium Theresa Caputo, there was a poor Kentucky farm boy named Edgar Cayce whose life-transforming concepts and amazing trance readings made him the father of holistic medicine and the most celebrated psychic of modern history.

In a waking state, Cayce lived a humble existence as a portrait photographer, devoted husband and father, and church deacon. In a trance state, however, he tapped into universal knowledge and correctly answered nearly every question put to him. Even from great distances, he could diagnose illness and recommend cures for crippling diseases and intractable medical conditions. He peered into the distant past and previewed the future. Even the staunchest of skeptics, including Harry Houdini, became convinced. And although he made millions for Wall Street investors, he and his family lived lives of hardship and struggle. Unable to lead a normal life, they ultimately accepted his remarkable gift and their work became a source of inspiration for tens of millions of people around the world.

Not until recently, however, when award-winning internationally-acclaimed New York Times bestselling author Sidney D. Kirkpatrick and his wife Nancy were given full and unrestricted access to Edgar Cayce’s personal and professional papers in Virginia Beach can the real story of the “sleeping prophet” be told. Authors of 2 critically acclaimed books on Cayce, co-editors of Venture Inward, the official magazine of Cayce’s Association for Research and Enlightenment, and 3-time keynote speakers at the Edgar Cayce World Congress, this will be their first public appearance on Long Island. This unique and highly anticipated event will begin with Sidney providing a picture window into the private world of Cayce and the inner workings of the men and women who made his work possible. Out of their trials, tribulations, and temptations have come a legacy of light, harmony, and self-empowerment. Nancy will follow with a discussion on “How to Lead Your Life According to Cayce,” highlighting how to apply his teachings and advice to improve the quality of our lives and fulfill our larger purpose. As an added bonus, they will be joined by special guest Jack Rosen, an expert on the health treatments and remedies that have made Cayce the acknowledged Father of the Modern Holistic Health movement.
